WORKSHOP for YOUR GROUP!

 

 

We love to provide workshops for a minimum of 15 participants.

Our “Iron-On” Swarovski Austrian Crystals & Decorative Metal Stud designs are the same as what appears on the gorgeous & very expensive, “St. John Knit” clothing ($1,000.00 plus price tag!). Easily ironed on with your household iron to most any fabric. These designs are durable enough to go to the dry cleaners and thru the washer and dryer!

 

Suggested items to embellish: blouses, pants, t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, swim suits, exercise wear, visors, special holiday outfits, scarf and socks. Other ideas: guest towels, decorative pillows, table runners, fabric covered picture albums, Christmas stockings, dance wear, purses and hat bands.

 

Here’s what I would love to do for YOU and YOUR GROUP! We will come to your facility and provide a 2-3 hour “Hands-On” Workshop. You will learn how to create magnificent outfits by applying “Iron-On” designs. You will also learn how to make changes, additions and how to easily create custom one-of-a-kind designs. I do not charge for the workshop, but I require at least 15 ladies to participate.

 

First, a 20 minute show and tell, showcasing several clothing creations using the “Iron-On” Swarovski Austrian Crystals & Decorative Metal Studs. Then, a “Hands-On” Workshop. I will bring all necessary irons and ironing boards. I can provide a sample bag: a black velvet jewelry bag -or- a roomy black canvas tote bag to be embellished with an “Iron-On” design with Swarovski Austrian Crystals. The cost to create the black velvet jewelry bag is only $4.00 each and the black canvas tote bag is only $8.00 each.

 

I encourage your group to bring at least 3 of their own garments to embellish. (Some garments will be suitable-some won’t) Cotton, polyester or silk is great. Velvet, acrylic, rayon, spandex and silk sweaters are not suitable. (They show the iron marks). Pre-wash using detergent (no liquid fabric softener). Wash T-shirts once, sweatshirts twice, denim and dress shirts, and anything starchy feeling at least 5 times. You don’t have to dry your garment each time but do use detergent each time. FOR BEST RESULTS: YOU MUST GET ALL THE SIZING OUT OF THE GARMENT SO THE DESIGN WILL BE DURABLE.

 

My assistant and myself can assist as many as 50 ladies in a workshop. And of course, SHOPPING TIME will be included! This product is not available in stores, therefore I want to make sure your group has an opportunity to purchase any designs and supplies they want from our abundant selection.

 

Originals by Becki has been in business for 9 years, providing workshops for over 30 chapters of the American Sewing Guild, Christian Womens Groups, Outdoor RV Resorts, Del Webb Sun City and the College of the Desert. We also participate in major sewing and craft related shows in Pomona, Costa Mesa and Phoenix.

We are available Monday thru Friday for this workshop.
